This upscale villa complex in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, China, was transformed into a masterpiece by Jingyi Cai. The client's house spans 800 square meters across four floors and is home to a family of six and their beloved cat. The design had to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while also adhering to the client's specific "feng shui" and "numerology" preferences.
The real challenge in this project lay in achieving the perfect balance of black and white. The design aimed for simplicity while delivering a strong visual impact. Through their extensive experience, the design team successfully achieved the desired effect by carefully controlling the black and white ratio, resulting in a unique and captivating color scheme.
The materials used in the realization of this design include stainless steel, iron, glass, and ceramic tiles. These elements were carefully selected to complement the black and white color palette and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the house.
The Biguiyuan house stands as a testament to the designer's ability to blend classic European style with modern elements, creating a truly unique and visually stunning living space. The project, which began in April 2020 and was completed in July 2020, showcases the designer's attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional design.
For their outstanding work on the Biguiyuan house, designer Jingyi Cai and their team were awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award recognizes designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. The Biguiyuan house exemplifies these qualities, providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its occupants while contributing to a better world.
